About Dr. Jane Platts, C.Psych.
Qualifications and Experience
I am a clinical psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. I provide psychological services to adults across Ontario via Jane Video or telephone. I completed my PhD at the University of Ottawa and have worked in a variety of settings including private practice, community mental health clinics, and hospitals. I strive to create a professional and welcoming environment for my clients and to treat each individual with the dignity and respect they deserve.
I am also a registered psychologist with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia (#2652).
Services Provided
Individual Therapy
I provide evidence-based individual therapy to adults. Areas of practice and interest include mood and anxiety disorders, PTSD and trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder, general stress management, self-worth and boundaries, and relationship and interpersonal difficulties. I am experienced with working with first responders.

Psychological Assessment
The purpose of assessment is to clarify an individual’s overall functioning, identify any relevant diagnoses if present, and provide recommendations for treatment, if warranted.
I am experienced with conducting assessments with RCMP and retired military personnel for VAC disability pensions.
